Our commitment to nurturing young minds has yielded exceptional results. Through various activities, competitions, and district-level forums, Aarti School raises awareness of girl child issues, empowering both boys and girls and reinforcing the importance of women’s education.

Today, Aarti School focuses primarily on students from impoverished backgrounds. Education has been provided free of charge since 2022, with students only needing to cover their transportation costs. Programs like the Bridge Program offer additional support for students who struggle academically or have minimal exposure to English, helping them integrate smoothly into the mainstream curriculum.
Our Teaching Methodologies

Know Your Child
This is a unique initiative started by Aarti for Girls, which involves home visits by the teachers and social workers to meet and interact with the families of the children. This has helped the teachers to completely understand the child’s situation and effectively plan for and implement the child’s holistic growth. Since the introduction of this initiative in 2020, there has been a great improvement in the students’ overall progress, attendance, parental involvement and the child’s health and interaction with his peers.

Makerspace
Aarti School has tied up with BiBox labs to build a Makerspace where the students can create objects using a variety of tools materials. Initially, 170 students of grades 4-6 are imparted skills in electrical and electronic circuit making. This fun and engaging initiative has shown positive results as the students’ attendance has improved, as well as their self confidence, along with understanding of the subjects. They actively participate in classroom discussions and are able to create different circuits adding and deleting components. The hands-on experience has improved their problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Creative Schooling
The students of Aarti School are first-generation learners and a large percentage of them are attending school for the first time. Aarti School admits such students and trains them to gain age-appropriate skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic through the Aarti Creative School. Periodic assessments are conducted and the students are shifted to regular school once they gain the required skills . It has been observed that the students, with sustained efforts from the teachers develop these skills within a period of 6 months.
