Over our interactions with many women, we have realised that economics play a major role in their not being in control of decision-making. Aarti Livelihood programs address this issue. Till date, over 3 lakh women have been trained in various forms of income-generating skills such as Fashion Design and Tailoring, Beautician Training, Hand and Machine Embroidery, and Handicraft Training including Toy making and Block Printing. Lalitha Cooperative is a registered charity which was established to provide marketing support to women so that they could be economically independent.
